The teams have worked around the clock to clear the school and get it ready so we can welcome pupils and staff back to school tomorrow.
We look forward seeing everyone back at school – usual time.
We are thrilled to confirm that The Grove has been awarded Advanced Autism Accreditation in recognition of the high quality provision it provides for our pupils and our community.

This evening Matt Hancock advised that residents of N17 should remain at home in response to the new South African variant being detected locally.
At the moment, school will continue to remain open on advice from public health.
We will update you as soon as there are any changes.
A Letter to all Parents and Carers
Updated: Sunday 3rd January 2021
Dear Parents and Carers,
Yesterday afternoon I wrote to you via email with some information on the return to school.
The Government has since issued special school guidance on Thursday (31st) evening. You may also have seen the statement (click here) from Haringey council of the growing concerns that Haringey is not on the Government’s contingency list. They are therefore advising primary schools to re-open to only a small number of children.
Given these two pieces of advice and guidance, we want to ensure school is the safest place to return to for both pupils and staff.
Please find below our current plan for next week. The Government guidance does identify the need for flexibility within the first week in returning to school so that school can plan efficiently and effectively.
Apologise in advance for any changes as we are responding daily to guidance and Government advice.
Monday 4th January
Tuesday 5th January
Wednesday 6th January
Thursday 7th January (onwards)
May I remind you it is essential that any member of the school community who feels unwell should remain at home and it is highly recommended that a COVID test is taken if their symptoms are those associated with COVID-19. We are aware, however, that for many of our children, the test may well be traumatic and that it is unlikely they would be able to self-administer. If it is not possible for a child to be tested then they should self-isolate for 10 days.
The new Haringey walk in test centre is located at 48 Station Road, N22 7TY and we be opening from Tuesday 5th January from midday until 7pm. The location of those in other Boroughs will be available on the Council website.
We will continue to keep you updated with any further changes or responses to Government guidance as and when we have it.
As always, you are welcome to contact us if you have any queries or concerns.
Kind Regards,
Lucia Santi

It is with great regret The Grove has been forced to close the school until further notice.
We will be in regular contact with families around activities and support you can provide your child during this time. Some will be directed to our online learning platforms and setting work to complete at home where this is appropriate.
We have issued parents and carers with advice on how to keep their children safe and well in this difficult time. We will be updating parents and carers via text and will reopen as soon as we possibly can.
For any enquiries, please continue to use the school email at [email protected] or for urgent matters contact our DSL, Ms Huseyin.
We wish you all well during these very challenging times.
Best wishes,
Lucia Santi
