We believe home learning should:
- Develop an effective partnership between school and parents/carers with regular feedback and support.
- Consolidate, reinforce and extend skills and understanding across the curriculum
- Provide a high quality provision for those unable to attend school
- Ensure those who are unable to attend do not miss out on their learning
We will provide home learning for those who are unable to attend school (as agreed between parent/carer and member of SLT/Pastoral team).Ā
Each student and department in the school is unique and as such require a bespoke home learning approach. Class teachers and individual subject leads send work at an agreed frequency, with a focus on working towards the students Educational, Health and Care Plan outcomes. The work is set in a number of different ways to match the preferred style of the student and class.
